Ground Conductivity Improving Material (GCIM)

Earthing system performance mainly depends on the surrounding soil structure and condition around the earthing pit. The Same electrode with same GCIM type and quantity behaves differently at various locations on the earth. As we have discussed earlier the factors which affect the performance and conductivity of earthing. Soil structure is one of them. Due to this variation in nature or structure of soil; we get different resistance value at various locations with the same earthing electrode.

GCIM is Ground Conductivity Improving Material, which is mixed with soil and placed around the electrode during the process of earthing installation. When we add GCIM in soil surround earthing electrode the resistivity of soil will decrease and conductivity of the soli will increase, so the over all earth pit performance will be increased. Contents of GCIM are highly conductive and non-corrosive compared to conventional salt and charcoal. Apart from this, water is a good conductor of electricity and water retaining the capacity of GCIM is 600% more than conventional charcoal. This high conductivity and water retaining the capacity of GCIM improve the overall performance of the earthing electrode.

GCIM HYGROLITE® :-

GCIM Hygrolite is a high-quality backfill compound designed for earthing applications. It is composed of natural minerals and is completely environmentally friendly. This compound ensures excellent performance due to its self-resistivity of less than 0.4 ohm-m, providing efficient and reliable earthing solutions.

GCIM HYGROLITE®, GCIM STANDARD®

GCIM STANDARD® :-

GCIM Standard has the qualities mainly to enhance the ground conductivity. GCIM Standard has been developed to enhance the conductivity of the soil around the earthing pit. GCIM contains the highly conductive ingredients, at the same time it is hygroscopic in nature and swells when it comes to the contact of water. It is non-soluble in water and non-corrosive thereby it ensures consistent contact between the electrode surface and soil.

GCIM HYGROLITE®, GCIM STANDARD®

GCIM EXCEL® :-

GCIM excel has been designed for the hard soil conditions and the soil environment where the resistivity of soil is very high. GCIM Excel is an electrolyte based Ground Conductivity Improving Material which is powered by neutralizing and diffusing agents. It helps reduce the soil resistivity and normalizes the soil condition even in very dry and harsh environment. When water is added the resistivity of GCIM Excel is 0.2 Ohm meter. GCIM Excel forms a bulk aqueous solution on addition of water and creates conductive capillary roots for the fault current dissipation through the earthing system.

GCIM VERSATILE® :-

GCIM Versatile is an exclusive backfill compound designed specifically for earthing applications in corrosive or chemically affected soils. This versatile product can be used in various environments, but it excels in challenging conditions where standard

earthing solutions might fail. After installation, GCIM Versatile dries and hardens, forming a solid, conductive cement that enhances the durability and efficiency of the earthing system.
